EASTER SUNDAY IN JERUSALEM -2009
WE LEFT THE JERUSALEM CENTER AT 5:45 A.M. AND WALKED A SHORT DISTANCE TO OUR NEIGHBORS ON THE MOUNT OF OLIVES TO JOIN THE STUDENTS AND MEMBERS OF THE LUTHERAN COMMUNITY AT THE AUGUSTA VICTORIA HOSPITAL COMPLEX FOR A WONDERFUL SUNRISE SERVICE CONDUCTED BY REV. MARK HOLMAN OF THE LUTHERAN CHURCH OF THE REDEEMER. IT WAS A SWEET EXPERIENCE FOR THE LDS STUDENTS TO JOIN THOSE OF OTHER FAITHS IN CELEBRATING THE RESURRECTION OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.
LIVING IN JERUSALEM THESE PAST 8 MONTHS BRINGS US TO THE REALITY OF HOW MANY PEOPLE DO NOT BELIEVE IN OUR SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST OR THE MIRACLE OF HIS RESURRECTION. IT WAS INSPIRING TO JOIN WITH "BELIEVERS IN CHRIST".
